Covering Letter: Personal covering letter from applicant addressing to ‘The Visa Office German Consulate’. It should mention entire travel plan (itinerary). For self-employed/businessmen, the letter should be on plain paper and for employed individuals it should be on company’s letterhead.
Proof of Civil Status: Marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, death certificate of spouse and ration card if applicable.
Insurance: Original medical travel insurance for the stay duration with EUR 30,000 or USD 50,000 coverage.
Accommodation: Proof of accommodation for the applicant’s entire stay in Germany.
