What started as an idea and vision of Mr. GMJ Thampy in 1980 is now one of the leading enterprise in the travel industry. Riya Group Enterprise started off with its overseas manpower wing in the 1980 and today has built an empire with more than 5 business verticals, which continue to expand. Building an enterprise so vast is no easy feat, but Mr. Thampy with his experience and able leadership skills have managed to grow the company beyond anyone’s imagination over the last 3 decades and he believes the journey has only just begun.
His hegemony is participative and encouraging. He strongly believes and values taking everyone along in the journey and his respect remains the same for everyone, from the junior most to senior staffs. This makes everyone respect him all the more. One of the most remarkable things about Mr. Thampy is that he has never compromised on work ethics or sought favours from any political outfit. The company has been successful purely because of the perseverance he has shown over the years.

Mr. Jayan Nair is an exceptional accountant and financial analyst, with over three decades of experience in the corporate finance and management accounting. In an era of rapid change and growth, he has played a critical role in coordinating company finance and managing corporate regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity and acquisitions as appropriate.
Mr. Nair has been global responsibility for all financial activities, treasury, tax, audit, accounting, financial analysis, consolidation and reporting of the Riya Group Enterprise.
He has trained and shaped many young talents to become responsible corporate financial personnel. He is based out of the Corporate Office in Mumbai and reports to the CMD. He is an avid reader and an active social worker.
Mr. Nitin John is a business graduate with exceptional organisational skills, is passionate about global events and has great enthusiasm to try new things. His college training, a decade of experience & knowledge, and remarkable personal skills has allowed the Riya Group Enterprise to secure several international corporate accounts and organise global corporate retreats and incentive tours.
He has played a lead role in setting up Riya Holidays and organising the MICE division. He has travelled across the world developing vendor relations and contracting with the service providers for the holiday division. He holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and has been part of the organisation for over a decade.
He possesses a great skill of forecasting the industry trends and has always been proactive in his approach. He has a knack for technology and keen interest in all things related to automobiles. His knowledge and understanding for international destinations has made Riya Holidays a big success.
He also enjoys watching world racing events, loves travelling around the world and like evaluating options for the next event for his clients.
With the amount of knowledge and experience Mr. Thomas Mathai possesses, he is bound to be everyone’s go-to person for a quick reference in matters of the moment and others alike. Mr. Mathai is an academic by choice and a people’s person by nature. He has spent about two decades with Riya Group Enterprise and has experience in the aviation and travel industry for about three decades.
Mr. Mathai has, from inception, taken a keen interest in development of people’s skills, both academically and socially. Moreover, setting up Riya Education (vertical that supports Indian students pursuing education abroad) and Riya Institute of Hospitality and Training Facility (vertical that prepares students for the travel industry) are few of the many initiatives he has undertaken in past years.
With more than 25 distinctions and academic degrees and certificates to his credit, he enjoys continuous education and likes to keep himself updated with industry standards and procedures. He is an avid reader and is passionate about exploring different places of ancient history in education and cultural interests.
He is also a guest orator, and enjoys sharing his knowledge and skills to develop young talents as future leaders within the organisation. Mr. Mathai has earned several awards and recognition for his continuous hard work.
Mr. Manoj Samuel is a technocrat with keen interest in integrating modern technology and gadgets into everything he believes in and is challenged with. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management and likes sports, music, technology & marketing. Throughout his career he has been an apolitical person. His experience of two decades is a perfect blend of technology and aviation. Being a person of great interpersonal skills and strong personality, bringing people of different skills and thought process together to harness the best in them is just second nature to him.
Mr. Samuel has played a vital role in transforming the organisation’s techno-advancement in every aspect and helped develop a wide array of travel related products and advancements in the mobile technology. He is always coming up with progressive ideas to incorporate in technology and modern industry practices into the organisation. He also oversees the support functions in the organisation by leading the Human Resources and Marketing Departments with his rich experience and insights of the industry. He has ensured the Human capital achieves the maximum.
He enjoys traveling, attending exhibitions and tech-shows, amongst other things, for leisure. He has a keen interest in photography and loves capturing the perfect moments within the frame of his camera.
Holding a degree in CA (Accounting, Finance Management & Taxation), Mr. Vishal Garg has experience of nearly 23 years in Financial Operations. His immense knowledge in the area of business strategy and decision making has boosted growth of Riya Group Enterprise.
He also brings with himself extensive experience in Finance & Accounts, Planning & Analysis, Receivables Management, Fund Raising, Taxation, Audit and Reporting. Moreover, his keen analysis, exceptional team management skills and abilities to liaise with varied stakeholders has helped the group achieve new heights.
With over 2 decades of experience in Strategic Planning & Execution, Business Operations, Client Servicing, People Management, Process Development and Collection Management, Mr. Sunil Dhingra is a creative individual and a result-driven leader. His association with Riya Group Enterprise of almost 5 years has definitely enhanced the development of its Corporate Travel division.
His exceptional skills to work in sync with corporate set parameters have helped in achieving business as well as individual goals. He has always been a change agent and a problem solver, who looks at the bigger picture, conceptualises and implements solutions. Moreover, he is an efficient communicator with effective relationship building and interpersonal skills as well as strong analytical and organisational skills.
Over the years, he has demonstrated excellence in recommending improvements to functionality, creating and delivering quality services. His ability to partner closely with business leaders and senior level executives has made broad range of corporate initiatives successful.
